Record an appointment’s outcome
After the appointment, record whether the customer attended so your team can follow up correctly.
Last updated
1. Find the appointment#
Open Calendars → Appointment List View. Choose All to find a past booking, then check the customer, date and calendar.
2. Choose the attendance status#
Open Status on the appointment row. Select Showed for attendance or No Show for a missed appointment, following your team’s policy. The change saves immediately.
3. Confirm the result#
Check that the row displays the status you selected. Confirmed means the booking was confirmed; it does not record attendance.
Example: A completed consultation#
The customer attends their scheduled consultation. After the meeting, record Showed. If you are unsure whether they attended, check with the team member who handled the appointment before updating it.
What if the appointment was cancelled?#
A cancellation and a missed appointment are different outcomes. Check the customer’s request and your team’s policy rather than automatically selecting No Show.
Selected the wrong status?#
Open the same row’s Status menu and correct it promptly. Let your usual Hanna Group contact know if follow-up may have been triggered. Recording attendance may start your business’s configured follow-up; it does not document everything discussed during the appointment.
